In the UK there are many pet rescue and animal sanctuaries that look after abandoned and stray pets, or pets where their owners cannot offer them the quality of life they deserve or just cannot afford to look after them. It is at these places, you can find a variety of pets from dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, hamsters, rabbits, parrots, horses, ponies and other pets. Some require a donation, others are willing to allow them to go to suitable homes for free.

If you cannot find a suitable pet from a reputable breeder, save the life of one of the many pets that have once been in a nice family home environment but are no longer wanted or have been abandoned.
