PET FRIENDLY HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION

Antrim Holiday Cottages | Self Catering Holiday Homes to rent

We've got great holiday cottages for rent throughout Antrim - from near the Giants Causeway and Irish Whiskey country on the Northern Coast right down to the shores of Lough Neagh in the South (and all points in between). Many of our holiday homes are ideal for families and several will even allow you to bring pets along. Antrim has some of the finest coastal scenery in the world, including the hexagonal basalt columns of the celebrated Giants Causeway. There are several resort towns, including Portrush  (with great golf links),Portballintrae and Ballycastle on the East Cushendun, Cushendall and Waterfoot on Red Bay, Carnlough and Glenarm Larne on the Sea of Moyle and Whitehead on Belfast Lough. Inland there are the lovely Glens of Antrim and the fertile valleys of the Bann and Lagan, with the intervening shores of Lough Neagh. Belfast is a handsome city with a blend of Victorian architecture and Irish hospitality. Once an area damaged by The Troubles, this is now a vibrant city full of new life. From our wide range of cottages in Antrim there's so much to see here; Odyssey complex, Belfast City Hall and the Grand Opera House are just to name a few. We've perfect Holiday Cottages wherever you want to be in Antrim!

Tyrone Holiday Cottages | Self Catering Holiday Homes to rent

We've got great holiday cottages ideally placed for fishing, touring and walking through Tyrone. From Strabane, Omagh and Dungannon. Tyrone's name comes from the Irish word Tír Eoghain meaning the territory of Eoghan, a son of Niall of the Nine Hostages and there is a strong existence of O'Neills in the county. It is the largest county in Northern Ireland with flat peatlands of East Tyrone bordering the shoreline of the largest lake in Ireland, Lough Neagh, rising gradually across to the more mountainous terrain in the west of the county, the area surrounding the Sperrin Mountains, the highest point being Sawel Mountain at a height of 678 m (2,224 ft). Benburb Valley Park has ruins of Benburb Castle and a great opportunity for walks along the River Blackwater. But there is also the Ulster-American Folk Park just north of Omagh (one of the best museums in Ireland) which is well worth a visit. 200,000 people crossed the Atlantic to America in the 18th century alone and the American Declaration of Independence was signed by 5 Ulstermen. This museum shows these links and a whole load more with some great full size reconstructions of streets and an emigration ship - fascinating for all the family.

Derry Holiday Cottages | Self Catering Holiday Homes to rent

We've got great holiday cottages for rent throughout Derry from Derry itself right up along the coast to Portstewart near the border with Antrim. County Londonderry or County Derry is in Ulster and is part of Northern Ireland. It was named after its main town - Derry, which lies in the north-western corner of the county. The highest point in the county is the summit of Sawel Mountain (678m) on the border with County Tyrone. Sawel is part of the Sperrin Mountains, which dominate the southern part of the county. In the north of the county are steep cliffs, dune systems and remarkable beaches of the Atlantic coast. Within Derry itself, the Museum of Free Derry is in the Bogside District and is a real must if you want to know the history of "The Troubles". But the history of Derry or Londonderry (depending on your politics) goes way back (see the Tower Museum). Don't forget the beautiful coast near Portstewart and Limvady (where Danny Boy was written).

Armagh & County Down Holiday Cottages | Self Catering Holiday Homes to rent

We've got great holiday cottages for rent throughout Armagh. The county is rugged in the South with the gorgeous Slieve Gullion Forest Park. There is rolling country in the middle and west of the county and the flatlands in the North down to Lough Neagh. In Armagh itself there are some fabulous prehistoric sites including St Patricks Trian and Navan Fort (the premier archaelogical site in Ireland), plus there's also the Planetarium and the Land of Lilliput exhibition - so there's things to do for all the family.

Fermanagh Holiday Cottages | Self Catering Holiday Homes to rent

With great holiday cottages for rent all the way from the bottom right to the top of Lough Erne - one is bound to be perfect for you. The fishing is superb throughout the county - Lough Erne trout fishing is from March to September; Salmon fishing begins in June and ends at the same time (there isn't a closed season for bream, eel, pike or perch). There are many islands several with Celtic and early Christian remains and taking a cruise is easy. On Boa Island (connected by bridges) is the pagan Janus Figure in Caldragh Graveyard and at 2000 years old it's one of the oldest stone statues in Ireland. There is also great birdwatching and watersports. Portora Royal School in Enniskillen is also where both Oscar Wilde and Samuel Beckett went! Many of our self catering holiday cottages in Fermanagh are ideal for families and several will even allow you to bring pets along.
